The Yamal LNG project for the liquefaction of natural gas in Russia is in full construction. This weekend, the first ship with modules for these installations arrived at the ICO-terminal (International Car Operators) in Zeebrugge on board the Atlantic Winter.
From now on, a part of ICO's Hanze Terminal in the inner port of Zeebrugge, will be employed for the treatment and temporary storage of modules for the Yamal LNG project.
In total, there will be about 80 parts shipped from countries like South-Korea and China. From Zeebrugge, these parts are shipped on ice class vessels to Russia.
The Atlantic Winter is 166 meters long and 14 meters wide.
